Escape Christmas
(Still open through the end of the year!)
Normally Christmas comes and goes, but not in the home of Jebidiah Krinklemeijer, puzzle-maker extreme. Here the holidays can last as long as it takes for his visitors to solve the puzzles he so carefully crafts. Every Christmas, Mr. Krinklemeijer creates a very complex set of puzzles for his grandchildren. These, they must solve in order to win their own Christmas presents. Some might call this a form of “child abuse,” but Mr. Krinklemeijer finds this to be absurd. He is simply choosing to challenge, befuddle, and otherwise perplex his grandchildren with the puzzles of his own making. Nothing more. They are free to go, anytime, forfeiting their presents of course. Over the years, the Krinklemeijer children have grown more and more talented, able to solve most of his puzzles with relative ease. So this year, he has made it even more complicated, and even more befuddling. The puzzles are all out of order, and intentionally so.
Perhaps you want to step into the shoes of the poor Krinklemeijer grandchildren and give it a shot? The challenge will be as simple as pumpkin pie, IF you are able to sort through the many complicated puzzles and connect the obvious dots. To win, all you have to do is light the Christmas star. Once you have done this, you can celebrate a job well done and then go on your merry way. Until then, you will play.
