This antique cheval mirror was hand carved by an Amish craftsman Samuel Ebersole in Lancaster, PA in 1942. Mrs. Deodora Enwhistle purchased the mirror at an OTLAHOT* benefit auction in Woonsocket, RI in the summer of 1968. In an additional act of charity, Mrs. Entwhistle also adopted a three-legged hound of her own and named him Smith after her alma mater.
