Modern replica of the South Sea pearls (1945). The necklace was purchased by Mr. Erstwhile Entwhistle III as a present to Mrs. Deodora Entwhistle on the eve of their engagement in 1955. They were worn publicly only once at the occasion of the distinguished Octopus Ball of the Seawaters, on Isle au Haut, Maine in August of the same year.
