Cross Country Treasure Hunt - Outdoor Escape Games
GET READY TO GO CROSS COUNTRY
We’ve taken the escape room outdoors and all around town with several new Cross Country Hunts (see below). Each hunt will take 1-2 hours, depending on your speed. You’ll get a password for the first clue automatically after registration. Please start at your sign up time. Click HERE to purchase a ticket.
Before we begin, let’s go over the things you will need to complete your task. First, you will need a smart phone to get clues and to time yourself. The clues are within walking distance from each other but good shoes and warm clothes are recommended. All clues are meant to stay exactly where you found them. We recommend taking pictures of the clues, because the actual clues should remain behind for others to find. You may also need a pen and a notebook in order to work out riddles. Yes you will have to work out riddles just like our indoor escape room. Hints will be provided when necessary. The first hint is subtle, the second (if there is one) basically gives it away in case of complete frustration. Good luck.
ITEMS NEEDED:
Well-charged smart phone (a must have for accessing or taking pictures of clues)
Internet access (check location, only AT&T works in Jamaica, for instance)
Pen and Paper
Hand sanitizer (for wiping yourself down after touching clues)
Spending money (some clues require a small purchase)
DANGER and BAD BEHAVIOR
Please play responsibly. That means NO climbing on unstable surfaces, driving on inappropriate roads, breaking property, or participating in otherwise bad or dangerous behavior. We want you to be safe and lawful. Good, clean sneakiness is ok. AND for Heaven’s sake, please return all physical clues to their hidden and locked position.
HINTS
We know that there is a contingency among you who prefer the raw and difficult version of our escape rooms. For this reason, we have listed the most difficult version of the clue first, and created a system of hints to help people who are wanting more direction. We expect you to use knowledge from locals, the internet, and other sleuthing to figure out the answers but if you need more, including GPS coordinates, then we have you covered. Remember PASSWORDS ARE ALWAYS IN ALL CAPS, numbers are written as numbers.
